Everything Art organizes art classes such as drawing and painting, educational activities such as lectures and workshops, and gatherings at museums and art shows. Everything Art hosts many fun and popular activities! A few of our past activities are listed below:
Workshops in pastel painting, drawing, paper art, resin and bead jewelry making, glass etching, cheeseboard wood burning, Fall cork coasters, wood slice ornament making, framed jewelry art, nature inspired creations, and stained glass
Art classes in drawing, pastel painting, mosaics and ceramics
Organized field trips to local art shows, museums, studio tours and art festivals
Art history lectures (e.g., past lectures about the Renaissance, Dutch/Flemish Golden Age, French 18th and 19th Century, and a series featuring American artists).
We continually strive to offer our members something of interest and welcome any ideas for future programming. We also encourage our members to share their passion for whatever craft or art interest they have by conducting a workshop or lecture.
Details and Other Information
Classes spanning multiple weeks cost a fee as determined by the instructor. Workshops tend to be a casual evening craft event conducted in-house by members wherein partcipants only pay a materials fee.
Schedule
Classes are typically held during the day, and workshops tend to be in the early evenings. Everything Art has the South Wing reserved on the second Wednesday of each month for our events. All activities are currently announced through the WCCC list serve, and a registration link is included to sign up.
